#3

Oh my, this one is a real treat, with it's natural, ghetto/office dialogue and cliffhanger ending, who can resist?

Pardon me for any inappropriate use of commas. I find that since I left school (a long time ago) my literary skills have been slowly declining, in exact ratio to my hair loss. Coincidence!? maybe...

A slight detour

Here is a wip of a zbrush scuplt for a Gameartisan comp.

He/it is a character from final fantasy 6. I tried to emulate the amano style of the concept art.

I never finished the game!

I think it's a goblin...

More brush work!

Working on some deeper shadows.
Frazetta's black and white illustrations are really great examples of how to place blacks in a composition to create depth and contrast.

Carry the Juan!

OK then, here's a comic I've been working on as a warm up to doing 'real' comics.
Hopefully I'll be able to update it weekly, though time is short... like a gnome!

Truly Inkspirational

So, I have been messing around with sumi ink recently and I find it very forgiving, though detailed areas can be a pain.
I'm not sure whether the brushed line looks good or whether my tastes have changed. I think I would be indifferent to this piece if I was once again the majestic faun of my youth.

Anywho, I chucked in a Gustav klimpt background pattern for the sake of fill and I am reading a book about him at the moment.
It's really nice when an artist can draw, and I mean actually draw, not just scribbles. Klimpt and Mucha are notables who give their drawings life and don't get carried away by abstraction.

The Power of Juan!

Anyways, so I was having a chinups competition recently and funnily enough, I won, with only 4 meagre reps.
I guess you could say the person I beat must be pretty weak... and smelly!

Welcome
